7 Minute Frosting

The frosting has been used for seven minutes since at least the early 1900s. To make this frosting known for its distinctive appearance, egg whites and sugar are mixed and pounded over simmering water, the sugar is melted and a very soft, fluffy appearance is obtained.
INGREDIENTS :
+ 2 large egg whites.
+ 1 cup and half of sugar.
+ 1/3 cup cold water.
+ 1 tsp vanilla extract.
+ 1/2 tsp cream of tartar.
+ A dash of salt.
