Quick Italian Cream Cake

While hey, there is really nothing of the pizza we know except the round shape. But in Italy (I told you that it is not a fixed or codified cuisine) many cakes are called so and it can be pizza dough with fruit or cream (more logical), Ricotta pies (yes!) or desserts like here. The field is very wide, isn’t it?

 

It’s a festive cake, just like yesteryear with goodies (and alcohol for flavor and storage). The basics are very simple (within reach of any cook… not even pastry chef), gourmet…

 

* Ingredients

 

°   1  packa white cake mix

°   3 large eggs

°    1 1/4 cups buttermilk

°   1/4 cup vegetable oil

°  1  can flaked coconut

°   2/3 cup chopped pecans, toasted

°   3 T Rum
